Final Reflection
The first Idea Napkin was the most informative experience. I was able to fully write out everything that I stood for and it really put things in perspective. I think that it really helped me understand what my values are and how to go about explaining those values. I also really liked interviewing people about my concept in relation to the Gainesville community. I learned that there is a lot more initiatives like my venture than I thought there was. For example, a school 30 minutes away actually already has hydroponics systems installed in their school! Rather than discourage me, this urged me to research further on how to scale the idea.

Hi Emily,
ReplyDeleteI'm glad this course was able to help you really research your venture idea. It's really easy to just think of an idea and dive in head first. Holding off and really looking at everything necessary to run a business is the boring part, but the most crucial. For me, the Women's symposium was the most informative. I came away with a lot from that.
Just a note though, you forgot your label. You can fix this quickly by hitting "edit" from your dashboard and then typing in "Week 15" in the label box and selecting it. Don't want you to lose points!

Hi Emily!
ReplyDeleteGlad you had some pretty positive experiences through this course! I hope that they will lead you to doing great things. Like you, I also learned a lot of skills and techniques from this course.
My only thing is-- you're missing a few things from your final post, like a picture and advice to future students!

Hey there Emily,
ReplyDeleteYou seem to have reflected quite a bit about the assignments completed and gotten a lot out of them. I find it very cool how you learned more about the world surrounding your own business idea as well. I’m glad you were encouraged during your time in this course and I wish you the best of luck with further entrepreneurial endeavors.
